Chris van der Drift has had surgery on his ankle yesterday afternoon. Despite his injuries, Chris is "doing well, and making jokes as always", according to information that has reached us.

The next step will surgery on one of his fingers. According to the doctors, Chris will be side lined for three months.
Van der Drift had a severe crash on the circuit van Brands Hatch last Sunday, after he was launched via Julien Jousse' right rear wheel. The Olympiacos car smashed into a bridge, broke in two, and came to a stop up side down.
