Superleague Formula is looking into the possibility of racing at the Grand Prix circuit of Adelaide in Australia. Superleague directors have been to Adelaide to see Events South Australia officials about having a round of the Superleague series in Adelaide, according to Adelaide Now.
Earlier Superleague Formula has been linked to the Super V8 Gold Coast event, to replace the bankrupt A1GP series. Superleague Formula director Robin Webb told that a race in Adelaide could be a stand alone event or on the back of another category's race.![]() The series has one Australian driver: John Martin. Martin, representing Chinese Football club Beijing Guoan, won the last round at the circuit of Brands Hatch in the UK. |
