Superleague Formula racer Yelmer Buurman has been strongly linked with a place at Force India for next week’s Formula 1 rookie tests in Abu Dhabi.

The 23-year-old Dutchman, who raced with AC Milan in SF this season, is rumoured to be one of the men that the British-based team is considering running during the four-day test in the Middle East.
Buurman was a race-winner and title challenger for the Italian club this season, only slipping out of title contention towards the end of the season after a string of bad luck. He also has strong single-seater experience in GP2 and Formula 3.
Meanwhile, Buurman is not the only Superleague Formula driver to be linked with a place in the test in Abu Dhabi. Davide Rigon, who clinched a cheque for €1,000,000 by winning the 2010 title for RSC Anderlecht in the season-finale at Navarra last month, has been linked with Sauber.
