The future of the Superleague Formula series has been secured for another two years. According to the leading motorsports magazine Autosport, Superleague Formula has had it's business plan signed off by one of it's biggest shareholders, a privat equity fund from Luxembourg.
Good news for the Football-themed series that every year makes a small step forward, bucking the trend in these challenging economical times. The 2011 calender will soon be revealed and most probably will again see 12 Rounds on typical old school venue's and some exiting new tracks.
It's been expected that there will be more fly-away races, while it's € 5 million price money is set to be retained. |
